My GE Microwave

I went with GE because of their once, stellar quality. I am not sure if this microwave holds up to that. I was an exact replacement of what I had before that lasted for 20 years. Doesn't sound as if starts correctly, a relative has the same one and hers does not start that way. I don't feel the power is up to par either. Additionally, the sides are black and I would think they would all be stainless?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem on day 1

After installation, there's a problem with the door shutting completely and of course, the microwave won't run if the door isn't shut. Day ONE of buying the appliance. Have to contact a REAL person to try to troubleshoot. Robocalls do not work!

Easy to use. Less noisy. Easier to open the door

It is less noisy than previous model we had from GE. The door is much easier to operate compared to the old GE model. Hoping this will last more than 2 years. The previous GE model died in 2 years.

Great microwave

I am very pleased with my new microwave. The appearance matches my new GE range perfectly. The one thing I would change is the keyboard. It is difficult to see b/c the background is black and the numbers and letters look grey. A brighter color would be helpful, but that's my only issue.

Sorry I have only used it 5 times since 11/30/20 installation. Each time it has performed perfectly. Found it easy to operate without reading instructions.
