Install was straight forward

This was a replacement for an over the range microwave that had been in place for a very long time. The installation was a two person job but was pretty straight forward. The unit is new but so far it is a great improvement in function and appearance from the one it replaced
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

Initially bought this series microwave two years ago, 2018 after the existing old microwave bit the dust. Today, this microwave completely died. Would not power up after trying different things. Overall, very disappointed given how new this machine is particularly when I have a newborn and 2 year old to feed and support. Would not recommend this machine to others.

Very disappointed

Microwave stopped working before it was 2 yrs old. All house electrical systems were checked out, so the problem was the microwave. Annoyed that I have to buy a new one, that I have to install it or pay someone to do it during COVID epidemic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Capobob - We appreciate your loyalty! Most of the mounting brackets are unique to the model they come with and the holes usually do not line up with previous units. Neither can we recommend using older brackets for new microwaves as they were not designed or tested together. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes. No hot meal

This was easy to install and looks great but it worked 1 time and stopped heating. Tried reset per GE website. It worked but after that no heat again. Everything else works fine but won’t heat to cook.

This is my 3rd GE Microwave oven. They don't last long. I needed to keep it looking like my other appliances, so I bought another GE. If redoing everything in my house, would look at other brands.
