Convenient features

I especially like the Express Cook options on the touch pad--makes heating and cooking much easier. This is also a great product for the price.

Great, user-friendly microwave

We bought this microwave last week after our old 12-year-old microwave died. We got a good deal on it and are very pleased with its many features and its user-friendliness. It also looks good in our kitchen.

I was tired of walking to the pantry to use the microwave...it's now over the range and I love the convenience and up out of the way. Bought GE brand as we had this product at work and it has lasted for years. Happy Day!

Powerful, quiet, efficient.

So far, I am very pleased with this product. It heats items quickly and is very quiet. It does everything well that I use a microwave for - heating up food, making prepared frozen lunches/dinners, popcorn, and defrosting. I have a recommendation to GE's deigners/engineers, however. I am a repeat GE customer, and this is the third GE over-the-counter microwave I have installed in my house over a 25 year period. Although GE has "standardized" the outside dimensions of their over-the-counter microvaves, they should strongly consider standardizing their mounting plates and the location of the self-aligning screws, which attach the oven to the bottom of the cabinet. All three of the GE microaves I installed have had different mounting plates and screw locations on the top of them, which made the installation of each microwave more involved than it could or should have been. In addition, my wall and the bottom of my cabinet have so many holes in them, they look like swiss cheese. You would be doing loyal, repeat customers a huge favor by standardizing these items.
