It cooks food , great start! Its white and it machetes the cabinet. Just burned half size popcorn because no setting for it only full size. Would be nice if separated light and fan buttons to the lower for easy to find and not with the rest.and it always sounds as it the door is slammed shut thanks to spring latch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet but with plenty of power. The door opens and closes with a bit too much
resistance. Installation was not the easiest. The "bracket" system, whereby the
microwave simply slides onto 2 brackets mounted to the wall (my old microwave)
was much simpler and easy to work with.

Love this microwave - had a GE Spacesaver before this (very similar) that died in about 8 years, replaced with this because the install hole was the same. We like this one better - very, very quiet, great bright surface lights, nothing negative to say! My sister already bought one like it!

I needed an over the range microwave in a certain color with a specific lock feature to keep my 91 year old grandmother, who suffers from dementia, safe. GE not only had it, but had it at a very affordable price. It looks great in my kitchen and works fantastic! It's better than the one I replaced that cost so much more. I am very grateful to have found it!

The house that we bought had the black colored version of this microwave and it died a month later but we liked the one we had so we bought the latest replacement model. Love the features, runs well, cooks very well, and looks nice and matches our GE range.
