We bought this product due to our original one went out after 9 years of every day use. This model has great features and is kid friendly. Easy to install due to great instructions.

Good Value-A basic no frills microwave

I'm pleased with it except:
(1) The control panel is very difficult to see if the room is dimly lit. Back-lighting would have been nice.
(2) To open the door you just yank on it. Seems to me the yanking will eventually damage the latch. A push-button release seems a better idea.

This is the third GE electric oven that I have had and all operated very will, and in my opinon, looked great.

I'm a DIY so although this mounted differently from the microwave I replaced the installation still proceeded smoothly. The template was accurate and necessary, and the unit performs very well. If not a DIY, proceed carefully or get help installing.

Looks Great, Easy to Use, Quiet

I had a GE microwave in my previous apartment, so when it came time to buy a house we knew we wanted the same kind. We purchased a new version and we are pleased with all the upgrades from the older models. It looks great, easy to install, easy to use, and the fan is rather quiet but very powerful.

We bought in early February for a replacement after the similar model that was 15+ years old finally gave in. We loved that one; it did everything we needed it to and we didn't want any new bells and whistles like cooking sensors, etc. Great price. Gets everyday use and works great. Can use timer and cook at same time, unlike some other brands. Hope this one lasts another 15 years. Only bummer was drilling new template holes in cupboard.
