bad microwave or poor installation

This microwave was installed in my new home. It either has a poor seal or was not installed properly as I get condensation on the cabinet located above the microwave. Also, I do not like that I have to press the cook time button before doing any 'cooking'.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced an older GE Profile microwave after about 18 years of use (and constant use!) so stuck with GE.

I bought this microwave to replace a GE microwave we have had for 20 years and still worked great. We updated our kitchen and purchased this one in hopes it will lasts as well as the first one. So far it is great.

I installed this product about one month ago. It is the 3rd. GE microwave I have owned and it is head and shoulders above the others...good show!

Good microwave at a good price.

The microwave is big, user friendly, and very affordable. I needed something within our budget after remodeling our kitchen, and this was a great purchase.
There were only a couple issues we had with this product:
Assembly was difficult (there is a piece that needs to be snapped into the top near the swinging door hinge, and that was very difficult to get snapped in tight so the door would click shut fully).
The product was missing the filter(s) said to be included, so it wasn't functional until we could contact the manufacturer (as the store would not let me exchange it for one that had the filters). However, the manufacturer actually took care of the issue very quickly, sending the part within a day or so...and even sending an extra for the future!
