control panel too dark

I bought all new GE appliances. Love them. The only thing is that the control panel on this particular model is too dark, I can't see it in dim light. I have to turn on the brightest light in the kitchen or shine a flashlight on the control panel to read the numbers or functions. This is unacceptable in a brand new product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok but not great

Works fine but a bit tinny and loud. The clock is impossible to read as the numbers are so close there's no spaces between. The price was very reasonable though.

Door not closing right

I got this as a replacement from my warranty and it has different hole measurements for instalation , and the door is not closing right it raises up as it closes and locks hard

I was pleased with the entire kit to mount the microwave. It replaces a 10 year old similar model. It has a bit newer system to operate. I like the changes.

Terrible display

Replaced our GE microwave JVM1533, used since 2004 with no problems. Sorry we purchased this JVM3160...cheaply made and ugly display. Disappointed to say the least. Next time we'll consider another manufacturer and do more research.

I like the Express Cook feature which is like a counter top GE microwave I have that is about 30 years old {and works fine).
