Do not hesitate to buy this microwave!

I bought this a month ago and I am happy that I did. It looks great with the matching range! Great features like quick start and turn table off when cooking something that will not tun on the auto tray swivel.
With a GE product you cannot go wrong! Have had them for many years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works much faster than our old microwave

Our first GE microwave lasted 31 years. Not sure if this one will last that long. So far it heats much faster than the old microwave, larger, cooks evenly and looks great with our other appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks Great and Easy to Use

I just wanted a basic, easy to use microwave that also looked good in my kitchen. This GE is perfect! It's actually a bit fancier than I needed but that's a plus sometimes. The only MINOR ding I'd give this model is the door, it's a bit tough to open but I think it's just because it's new. Otherwise it's great!

Handle woes!

The microwave works great, but less than 6months of average use and the top handle, which is encased in plastic, cracked. Currently attempting to have a repair as the handle is encased in the door and looks like the entire door will need to be replaced-arrgghhh!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TIMER ALARM GOES ON FOREVER UNTIL U TURN IT OFF

I occasionally set my timer to go off so I know it's time for me to leave the house for work. Apparently, one day I got ready very quickly and left before the timer went off and came home hours and hours later to hear the microwave timer still beeping!!! Does not stop until someone pushes cancel button. Design flaw...it should stop beeping after a few minutes.
