This is better than my old one. 1000 watts cooks a quicker. Easy to use.

Black seems easier to keep clean than stainless

So far so good! Had problems with my control panel on the last one. It would be nice to make a universal mount bracket at least for GE?

I bought this because I needed a unit with the exact dimensions of my 20-year old microwave. The installation was easy. In general, it works well. The turntable has a raised lip that I assume is good for containing spills but limits the size of dishes it can hold. The door closes easily but feels flimsy and cheap. I feel I have to be extra careful not to close it too hard. The touchpad quickly developed scratches and peels until I realized there was a protective plastic film overlaying it for shipping, which I pulled off. There is no button to turn off the sound, but I found that you can hold down the zero for a few seconds and the pad will display "mute" and the sound is off. Press and hold again to turn it back on. The user manual suggests this feature is only available on higher-end versions of this model.
