Dependable, Quality Beand

We love our new microwave. Our son and grandson installed it, and it is perfect. It is very much like our previous microwave, and since we’re elderly, that’s a benefit. All the controls are in the same place, so we didn’t have to learn anything new to operate it. We have learned from experience that it’s better to buy quality appliances, and that’s another reason we stayed with the GE brand. Thank you.

We're at your service for your microwave needs! If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. You can lift up on the latch to feel the tension.
Also, if the microwave starts as soon as the door is closed, the microwave isn't really starting; the fan is coming on in anticipation of the unit starting. Try shutting the door firmly three times to avoid the fan sound in future use.

Works great. We replaced a previous GE with this one. It shuts down though if you run it too much in a row. When we try to do while potatoes it fautls.out for then2nd run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good price, but you get what you pay for. Preset popcorn button doesn’t even come close to popping a bag of popcorn, takes longer to get things hot than other microwaves we have had.

Microwave power can vary from model to model, and sometimes adjustments will need to be made when moving to a new unit. Great microwave at a great price!

We had our old GE bisque microwave for 10 years before it broke. We were told the door latch was broken beyond repair so we purchased a new one almost identical from GE. Thank goodness GE is still making over-the-stove microwaves in bisque. Please don't discontinue this color. It's a great color.
