It's very simple and easy to use. It has the quick cook options like our old microwave, the vent, light, and wasn't to difficult to install. Definitely need 2 people to install it though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a very afforadable Microwave. Vent automatically comes on whenevr using the microwave. The vent should have been indipendent by itself..now need to hear loud noise every time cooking something

Great Product

Had to replace my old model I had since 2006. The newer model is fantastic! It’s quieter than the old model and seems to work heating food etc. so much faster. I will continue to invest my money on GE products because they are made well and last a long time. You can’t go wrong with GE in your home! Definitely would recommend!

Not as expected

The product had to be serviced within the first year. Now the digital display is blinking constantly in the background. Of corse, only a one year warranty. We purchased three GE products in May 2022–washer, dryer and microwave. The dryer is now not working, the washer is horrible and now the microwave issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the same model new 3 years ago and it died. I'm only in this residence 4 months a year.
The only reason I got the exact model again is due to easy install, everything was already set up.

Needs better lighting

Decent microwave, but who designed the over-the-range light? It is way too dim, even on the high setting. Doesn't give near enough light for the oven/range top below. Only one halogen bulb? My older GE over-the-range unit at least had two bulbs, and when I replaced them with LEDs it illuminated the stove top very well. Very poor and inefficient design.
