The handle busted and the light corroded. I tried to replace the light and it busted off. I had to gorilla glue the handle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light not Adequate

First the positive. GE products are a sound choice. It is always my preference over other brands. We have had 3 GE micro waves, this being the third. The light that illuminates the stove top (also GE) on the previous model (JVM3160DF2WW)was far superior than this model. It has two lights versus one on this model. I would not have purchased this model if I was aware of the difference. The light is not adequate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave suits all my needs. I was told stainless are hard to keep clean this just wipes off with a cloth.
