Disappointing

The only time settings are minutes, or 30 second times. You cannot set for example 20 seconds or 75 seconds which we use a lot. This was the only microwave available with the height we had to have. Even my entry level microwave in the shop you can set the amount of seconds you want, but not this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We hate to hear you’ve been having trouble figuring out how to set a time using seconds. We want to help. To set a specific time, press “Cook Time” then enter your time and press start. You can find more information, and other ways to use the Cook Time feature, on page 8 of your use and care manual, linked here:

We love this microwave! We have only had Whirlpool up until this point and now I wish we switched to GE years ago! We love all the different functions and it’s extremely user friendly. Highly recommended!
