Fits the bill

Our old microwave died and it's amazing how much we use it. This fit the bill, the cost was good, the size fit, and it does most of what the old one did. We've had no problems with it and are still getting used to the various features. There is nothing that tells you what the different settings are.

Buttons are hard to push and located in different places on the control panel than my previous GE microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

slate is plastic, unlike my slate GE fridge.

Works fine, exhaust is a bit noisy, very much unhappy with how the slate panels are plastic not metal. I have a GE fridge in slate and sadly assumed the microwave in slate is also metal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the microwave oven does not have a key for frozen or fresh vegetable to cook.

I had an older GE microwave that I replaced. This one is okay, but built more to a cost than the last one. I suspect that it won't last nearly as long.
I think that there are 3 areas that I feel make this a 3 star product. First is the door. It feels, and sounds like a tin can. It feels and sounds like I could bent it if I'm not careful, potentially causing radiation leakage. Area 2 is the sound level. It's quite a bit louder than the older one, and when you first turn it on, it sounds like it's struggling to get up to power. Area 3 is the layout of the buttons. It looks like they were randomly placed - 'Cook Time' is placed with the convenience buttons, and the 'Timer' button is between the cook time and 'Add 30 seconds'.
On the other hand, it does function correctly and has all of the features that I use anyway. Time will tell if it's durable.
