It's a good microwave, too bad GE didn't have it made in Mexico instead of china, lot of plastic anymore.

Not quite as good as my old one.

It's a replacement for a JVM 1630, installed when I bought my new house in 2005. That one, which served me very well, had a more solid sound when closing the door. This new one has a "tinny" sound when you close the door. Also the new one doesn't indicate the item you're reheating on the screen. You have to keep checking back to the instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The turntable made a noise. It appeared the guide was off center. This improved when we repositioned it.
The previous Microwave which was also a GE only lasted about 5 years and the magnetometer failed.

Works great. Easy to install above the stove. Replaced mother brand and very happy with this one so far. You don’t realize how much you use one till it doesn’t work anymore.

So far we are happy. This one is replacing our previous GE microwave oven. Glad the over the stove light has been moved closer to the front. It will make changing the bulb so much easier!
