Not great for a modern microwave.

Buttons don’t light up. Timer is super loud, too loud. Retains fingerprints like crazy. Why does the vent only work on top, makes no sense b

We can understand how disappointing it is when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. This model doesn't have backlit controls and the stainless is not considered fingerprint resistant, however it can easily be wiped clean. It is normal to have the air blowing out of the top grill. Great Microwave!

Great value for the price. Easy to use controls. Love that you can shut the turntable off to better heat beverages like leftover coffee or hot water for tea. Reheating food evenly is also much better compared to my older model GE microwave. Popcorn for movie night? BOOM! So fast and fewer unpopped kernels than my previous lower wattage version. In over 45 years of buying appliances for my homes, I have NEVER been disappointed in the quality of GE brands, replacement parts, or service.
