Reliable brand

I purchased this to replace an older model. Although installation required some alterations where it would be installed, it was manageable. GE has always been a reliable brand. I’m happy with the microwave.

We had a GE micro wave that We bougt from HHDepot about 7-9 yeards ago. Had no problems until an electrical short frid everything. No problems at all up till then. New one seems to have a more flimsy construction. And it's only been a month or so and I'm hearing scraping/ rattling noiseslike some king of belt is off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy fan

The fan that runs while the microwave is on is noisier than I would like.

Microwave was just what I was looking for with all of the special features which were important to my family for easy access. I like the ventless exhaust fan with the carbon filter as well which seems to perform as I expected.
