Stopped working within 2 years. Crackling sound starts as soon as we put food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I enjoy my microwave in times of finding i need something in a hurry ,i will say i am disappointed by how quickly the shield ( coating) on my panel starting bubbling i have had it for alittle over 2 months ago.

Good Microwave Oven

I like this microwave oven very much. I especially like the quick 30 second button, for re-heating my coffee when it gets cold, and the Express 1 through 6 minutes buttons - Saves me from having to press many buttons! I know, I am lazy, LOL. I hope it lasts 20 years, like the one that this one replaced did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not happy with having to push a button that says cook time. I should be able to just enter the time I want and then hit start.

We love our GE Microwave. The only thing that could be improved upon is the light over the stove top should be an LED. The light it has is not bright enough.
