Quality Product, but a Previous Version was Better

As an owner who also installed, it would have been better if the mounting bracket stayed compatible. As a user, it would have been better if GE didn’t mess with the user interface that was pretty good; for example, pressing Cancel no longer cancels the timer. This is still a quality product, but not as good as earlier generations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We understand the importance of a microwave operating as designed for an extended amount of time. However, it is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan, life expectancy, or life cycle of an appliance. There are many variables involved such as frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance, care, and maintenance.

We had this same microwave previously and had one repair of heating element under initial warrantee and it went out again a year later. We got a new one because we really liked this microwave, and it fits perfectly over our stove. We are taking a second chance because we liked it so much.

Great product

My last GE microwave was installed in 1997. I have replaced all of my appliances at least once and some twice. I didn't even look at other brands since I have always had confidence in GE appliances.
