I purchased this microwave to replace an existing that failed. I have been purchasing GE appliances for the last few years exclusively. I like that they offer warranty protection because this is important to me that tells me they believe their product is of high quality. This unit works perfectly much better than any other one I've had before. It was pretty simple to install pretty much lined up with everything I already had except for the top mount screws which I had to redraw the holes which really wasn't difficult at all with the template. Has a lot of options but you really need to download the online manual and information because it does not come with a lot of documentation as far as operation. But this is a high quality nice looking unit.

Third same model since 1999, (this one replaced previous after 10 years, 1 month and 2 days).This is not quite the same, only ONE light instead of two, which is weak, and only covers the center of stove and NOT the burners. Strain to see what's cooking! Power Level button on control panel does not respond. Didn't receive operating manual, so am guessing until I order a copy. Reviews are concerning, but I had no choice Had to order due to color (bisque) to match other appliances. If this one doesn't last I'll have to redo my whole kitchen

Wore my 1st one out, so I bought this one, exact same thing, to replace it. Love my GE microwave! Cooks and reheats great. Only way to make popcorn. When I forget to get something out for supper, use the defrost , use both weight and time, depending on what I am defrosting.
