would not buy again

I had a GE microwave previously that I liked until it stopped working one day. It looked nice didnt show fingerprints. The door seemed solid. The new one, the door doesnt feel solid; it has a cheap feeling. Also, it shows fingerprints more so and looks dirty often. On a good note, it is more quiet than the previous model. I would not purchase this particular one again.

I bought this microwave about 5-6 weeks ago and so far all is going well. The only problem I seem to have is with the Vent Fan. It doesn't work when I turn it on. However, if I leave it in an ON position, it will come on the about 8 hours later or the next day. So I'm unable to use that feature. However, the microwave serves my purpose of re-heating foods, & popping corn. I wished the Vent Fan worked properly because sometimes when I'm cooking on my stove top, smoke is created and the Vent Fan could pull out the smoke.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE Over the Range Microwave

The only complaints I have, the finished ring isn't loud at all, disappointing. And, the over the range lighting are yellow and VERY hot. They need to be cool and bright white or daylight.

Kept dying

4 months after install kept tripping everything. First it was just opening it while running that blew the fuse (technician was kind enough to teach me how to replace the fuses), now 14 months after install it's completely dead and my warranty is expired
