Great microwave for the price!

This microwave was very inexpensive and fit right into the same spot that my old microwave was in. It was also a GE but an older model. This model is actually quieter. It’s working well and we are pleased with it!

Installation problems.

I just purchased this today. It is a nice microwave, looks great, a little bigger than I thought. My only problem was the instructions on how to install. They were not easy to follow at all. It was not easy to remove the grill because the hole they drilled left metal around it and you had to really pull on the grill. Which I was afraid of breaking it. After I got it off I shaved the metal down on it. I hope it last awhile. My last GE was 20 years old. This is a much lighter weight.

Extreme Power Draw

Purchased June of 2016, now trips breaker with every use as of April 2018. Confirmed with electrician that issue lies with microwave; breaker performs as expected when using other appliances rated for similar power draw.

Microwave started tripping the breaker repeatedly. Plugged it into a different outlet and it tripped the breaker. Reset it and then it just died. No noises, no lights, NOTHING!
Owned it less than 2 years and kept in a vacation home that was only used 6 months a year.

This is my second GE micro wave in 2years the door release fails to reset fuse to operate.
