Major design flaw you don’t figure out until you have home and installed.
The control panel is almost impossible to read without overhead lighting being turned on.
Even in mid day you can’t read the control panel.
I’d avoid this product.

Great machine but!

We are hoping this one has a longer life than the one we purchased on 1-11-2016 For some reason the other identical one blew a fuse and it would cost too much to repair. This one is identical to our other one with one exception. The under cabinet mounting screws holes didn't match up so now we have new holes under our cabinet. Quit changing the installation holes. it is already difficult enough to mount this machine. Other than this comment I liked the other one and hope this one works as well with a longer life.

This was purchased as a replacement for a similar model that died and was too expensive to repair. It fits the kitchen nicely and works very well, except for having one of the oven lights on the bottom burn out within a month of purchasing.
Overall, an excellent product!

I have two GE microwave ovens before the first lasted 18 years and the second one is in the garage after remodeling the kitchen. This new is great looks good and performs well. the only issue is the controls buttons do not have a back light, which would make seeing the controls, so much better. Not a major issue but is one thing that can be improved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I finally decided to replace my original microwave. It likely dated back to 1994. I was hesitant to go white. However, with all my other appliances being white, this new GE microwave makes the kitchen all look new! It is quiet. And, most importantly, the price was right for my budget!
