I bought the same product a year-and-a-half ago and it keeps blowing fuses. I purchased it again because it fits my budget I'm wondering whether or not it will die in a year and a half again

Circuit Board Shorted Out!

I loved this at first! Great looks, great cooking. A year-and a half later, it no longer works. Of course it's out of warranty!! Not a good buy. I guess it is cheap. Maybe I should spend more money and get an appliance that lasts longer. My stove top is 15 years old and my fridge is over 20 years old. I take care of my appliances.

An upgrade from our older GE.

We previously had the same model microwave (purchased in 2002). Some how, my wife managed to break the door latch. Otherwise it still worked like a charm, as long as you didn’t mind holding the door shut lol.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Apparent GE quality control oversight

I'm not very pleased with my purchase of this product. The front control panel is printed with a pale gray ink on a black background. It's difficult to see without stronger lighting, can't be seen at night and surprisingly there isn't a option to illuminate it. My oven was also shipped to me with a huge dent in the bottom directly from the factory. I say this because there was no damage to the cardboard box, no damage to the styrofoam. There was no cause for me to inspect for damage. It's plain to see that the dent was painted over and shipped like that from the factory because there is no scratching or scraping of the paint on the unit. The paint is pristine right over the dent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
