No backlight

This microwave looks nice and cooks just fine. I'm giving it 3 Stars because there is no backlight behind the buttons. The clock lights up, so why not go ahead and light up the rest of the pane?. The panel is black, which depending on where the lighting is in your kitchen, it is VERY difficult to see. I have a vinyl machine and decided to place white decals over the Cook, Timer, Fan and Light buttons - I may do more, but this will suffice for now. Just a poor design in my opinion. I would not have chosen this one if I had realized it had no lights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well; functionally awkward

This microwave cooks well and is quiet. Buttons are not illuminated and are difficult to see since they are black with fine writing. Also, the order of the buttons seems random.
I would recommend this to a friend!
