My husband has trouble reading the panel because it is not lit. No backlight. He has to get a flashlight to read it.

Beautiful oven which worked great - until it didn’t. After months of no issues suddenly started tripping the circuit breaker. Frustrated that we are having the problem now.

After warming item, microwave power was lost. Found internal fuse blown. Replaced fuse, next day blew again. After reading online, this is not uncommon. Suspected one of the door switches, but to replace even one of them (there are three) would be close the original price we paid. It replaced a GE space saver that was 15 years old. What happened to the quality? Obvious to me that they are sacrificing quality. It's basically a throw away oven if something inside breaks. 3 years seems too short a life for a any microwave.

Wouldn't recommend

I've had this microwave 2 years. It stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Had an appliance repairman come out (changed a fuse) and it worked again. For one day. Repairman is now coming back out to change door switches (whatever that is). For a microwave this new, I don't think this should be happening. The cost of repair is now almost equal to the cost of a new one. Very disappointed in the quality.

My 3rd GE microwave

My original microwave was a GE, it lasted a long time, it was installed when I moved into my house and we re-did the kitchen in the year 2000. I replaced it possibly 10 to 12 years later with another GE, because my appliances were in the almond/bisque color. The second one lasted a few years. My latest, once again GE microwave was replaced August 2017, once again the biscuit color. A few days ago it tripped the circuit breaker, it went back on. It worked for a little bit, now it’s dead. This one did not last even two years. Seems like everything is made to be disposable. Not satisfied at all.

Love it but second time in 3 years totally quit.
