Tripping circuit breaker

Up to this point, my only major complaint is that this unit is loud in every way - opening and closing the door, during cooking and that fan...but now, not even 3 years old & the microwave keeps tripping the breaker. Electrician inspected & confirmed the issue is with the unit & I see others have had this same issue. Why would anyone pay for repairs for an obvious design flaw, when they can buy another brand new unit for close to the same cost?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced our old GE Microwave that died after 19 years! We definitely bought another. I had it up in an hour. Very similar to the old one. I love it.

Love the GE microwave. It has all the features we need and easy to use. Everyone in the family uses it more than any of our other appliances except for the refrigerator.

I'm very satisfied with this GE Microwave , it looks great , performs well and has plenty of options that are easy to use , the surface light and extractor make it a very useful appliance.

Failed after 2 years

After 2 years, it started popping the breaker. Bought the same model to make sure it fit the space above the range. Believing this one will last much longer.

Tripping the breaker

Less than two years old and tripping the breaker constantly. Even though it's on a dedicated outlet, it became a daily occurrence and now will not even stay on for more than a few seconds! Now reading other reviews, this appears to be a common problem with this model. Our previous microwave lasted 12 years. This one, didn't even make 2. I feel cheated!
