We originally purchased this over the range microwave as part of a matching appliance package when our new house was still under construction. Due to construction delays, it sat in the store awaiting delivery for a few months. We have lived in the house for just nine months now, and the microwave has already quit working. We just purchased an identical microwave to replace it because I really want to keep a matching set. This was our first time to purchase GE appliances, and I’m hoping that this isn’t an indicator of problems to come.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to replace microwave after only two years. GE is only one with this color. Here is hoping the second one lasts longer than first one. Would not recommend this product at all.

This microwave has broken down twice in the two years we have owned it. It is no longer worth fixing as it costs more to repair that it’s worth. It’s crazy to have an appliance last 2 years, but that’s all we got with this one. Not buying GE that’s for sure again.

Nice replacement

This is a good-looking nice microwave. Seems to work very well. The buttons seem a little non-intuitive, but may just be different than my previous microwave, and I'm not used to them yet. Happy with the purchase and the price I got for this. Really looks sharp in my kitchen.
