Terrible! Hazardous!!

Within less than one year the light would stay on unless you push the door in again and wiggled the door handle. Made a service call to get that corrected it worked fine for a couple months and started up again.
Today 10.3 1.19 the microwave turned on all by itself! No lights turntable wasn’t moving but the microwave was running!
My 91 year young dad brought it to my attention it was so hot I could not even touch it!!!
I used potholders to open the door to see that the the plate/food cover which I leave upside down was totally melted onto the glass turntable. We unplugged the microwave for several minutes plugged it back in and it was still running! Thank goodness I was here Or who would’ve known what would’ve happened to my elderly father! If this would’ve caught fire to the kitchen cabinets!
Called in another service call I definitely would go with another product! Buyers beware!

GE 1.6 CF over-the-oven microwave Model JVM3160DF4

Had the 2010 version of this same microwave. Given the extreme heat in southern Florida, I stll got 9 great years out of it. This one is even sturdier. Expect it to last as long...

2nd microwave of same model in 18 months

This is my second microwave of the same model within the last 18 months. My fist microwave died while heating a bowl of soup. Everything I did to troubleshoot as per owners manual did not work. I like the express features and ease of use. All of my appliances are GE however, if this microwave dies within the next 18 months I’m done with GE. My son is planning to remodel his kitchen within the next 18-24 months. If this microwave dies before that he is going to another brand of appliances for his kitchen.

Great replacement

Our ge microwave that came with our house only lasted 2 years and this was the closest replacement that stores had in stock. Although it is quieter, I wish the brackets were more universal rather than having to turn your wall and base of overhead the range cabinet into Swiss cheese by drilling new holes. Also, the vent options required the motor to need repositioned. A lot of work for such a small device. Lastly, the color of the numbers in the photo are green/yellow, which matches our range; however they are profit white.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked 4 months after one year warranty

Not having luck AT ALL with GE appliances.
Stuck with GE because of the space I have.
This is 5th GE microwave in 19 years. You be the judge of its quality.

Not as good as my old microwave.

I had to replace my old microwave #JVM3150RFSS with a "newer" model #JVM3160RFSS. The 1350 is a far superior model. The number pad is brighter, the clock is much easier to read, the overall look is nicer with the curved bottom.
