Replacement Microwave Oven

This is a very reasonably priced over the range microwave oven which replaced a 10 year old one that failed. It works very well and matches the rest of the appliances in the kitchen. One minor drawback is that the lettering on the controls does not contrast strongly enough with the background and is not as easy to read in low light as the original unit. So, sometimes I turn off the turntable when I am trying to turn on the night light. Also, the night light only works manually whereas in the previous unit, it was set by timer and came on and turned off every night automatically.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great style and features

Welove the way it heats food up fast. The only thing is miner is we wish the control panel had brighter buttons to see the fuctions better.

I replaced a 20 yr. old Microwave made in So. Korea.
This microwave made in China consumes 25% more power, cooks more slowly and has less features.

Died after warranty expired

Died a year and half after installing. My last GE microwave lasted 26 years. This is just unacceptable!

Bought this over the range microwave to pair with newly installed GE electric range (Model JB645RKSS). They look great together. Can't comment about anything else at this time. If they perform as well and last as long as other GE purchases that I have made in the past, will be very pleased with purchase!

I just put in the microwave! Love, love, love where the lights are! Now I can see all the burners. My old one was very old. This is miles ahead! I expect to be very happy with it!
