Great Space Saving Microwave

Our first GE over the oven microwave last 26 years. When it broke unexpectedly, we decided to replace it the replacement is similar size, fits perfectly, more powerful than the initial microwave, and has a rotating turn table which we love. It’s beautiful! This microwave is perfect for our needs, and we’ve grown to rely on GE, for product reliability. Enthusiastically recommend!

Sleek & Quiet

This microwave is sleek with it's black and stainless steel finish, and super easy to wipe clean. The motor is quiet,and has bright LED display.
Install requires a drill for cabinet holes and that was the toughest part. Requires two people while bolting to cabinet.
Cheap deal on top quality appliance. I couldnt be happier.

Dead after 2 years

Just had the JVM3160DF3CC for 2 years. My daughter opened the door to put something in something bright flashed then he microwave died. My husband unplugged it and then plugged it back. Still dead. Breaker is fine, so it's the microwave. Can something be done about it or just toss in the garbage?

Only worked for 3 days

Bought on 11/19/19. Worked for 3 days. Called store where it was bought, they don’t have a replacement. Called GE to report problem, have been waiting for over 2 weeks get a repairman to come look at it to see if it can be fixed.

broke within 36 hours of purchase

This product is a piece of junk. Within 36 hour the touchpad stopped working. This is the second time I have purchased a GE microwave and had the same issues but at least the other one lasted a few weeks. I can now see why they are going bankrupt no quality control.

Everything Good Except the Display

We like all the features in our Microwave, but the Clock and Display is not the same as the picture I’m the paperwork, and all the online info.
It is bright white, not green, very hard to read, and the “ : “ between the hours and minutes is too closely spaced, and twice as bright as the numbers. VERY ANNOYING. See picture. Hard to read the time if you are further than 3 feet away from the display.
If I had known this before I bought it, I would have bought another model or brand.
