Stopped working after 3 years

Purchased the same model (JVM3160RF2SS) 3 years ago but had to replace due to dangerously pulling too much power and tripping the breaker. Expected better quality from GE. Purchased same model since bracket and cabinet holes are in the same place. New one installed easy and is working fine, just hoping it lasts longer this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't even last 2 years

this model microwave didn't even last 2 years before it broke. It trips the circuit breaker by just being plugged in. There was nothing you could do with it.

The worst appliance I have ever purchased!!

This microwave is the worst microwave I have ever used or purchased!! There are no lights in the control panel and I have to get a flashlight to read them even with every light in the kitchen turned on (even during the day they are hard to read). It would have helped if the control panel would have had some lighter colors on all the different functions and the numbers. The door is very difficult to open and close and sometimes doesn't close good. The numbers on the digital clock are to close together so it makes it difficult to figure out the time. If I wouldn't have paid to have this microwave installed I would have sent it back!! Would never recommend this microwave to anyone!!

Door is hard to open and close

We had GE before easy open and close. It's difficult when you arthritis in your hands. Gray lettering hard to see at nite, have to use a flashlite

Used twice then darkness

I bought this product new from Lowes and after installing the microwave it worked great for two times. Now the surface lights don't work. I tried to replace the bulbs and still nothing.

Had trouble with the last one

First one kept tripping the breaker while under warranty.
Tech replace three micro door switches. Lasted less
than a year and started doing it all over again.
Not on warranty anymore, so it got tossed in the dump.
What a waste. Purchased the same model just because
I needed an easy install due to time constraints.
Hope this new one last longer.

Fuses keep blowing
