Great until it died

Just redid our kitchen, total gut. Microwave died within first year (didn't buy extended warranty). Did get the warranty for range, dishwasher and refrigerator. Have already accepted reimbursement for dishwasher and fridge (both total losses). Thank god for the extended warranty. Very disappointed in quality of products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Nice Microwave with One Caveat

This microwave gives you a good Bang for Your Buck; concerning Value, Performance and Features. The one caveat? The Control Panel is unlit and next to impossible to read in low-light conditions. That's the reason for the 4 Star rating under "Features". A flashlight is needed to see the pushbutton panel in low light.

We use a microwave daily. We liked our first GE microwave, after 16 years it just quit. The new GE microwave has a control panel with more cooking features, easier to see and the buttons have been relocated in a strategic position. Larger turn table and some cosmetic chages to it look

Very happy because it is the perfect size for over the counter microwave, also the bisque color that matches my appliances and is hard to find. It works great.

Barely Lasted 14 Months

This thing is a piece of junk.
13 months into using this microwave, it started routinely throwing the breaker during normal operation (go figure that the warranty is 12mos on this). I’m a licensed electrical contractor and triple-checked my wire, breaker, and outlet and there were no abnormalities with any of it. Tried changing the fuse multiple times - would work for a little while then go back to doing the same thing.
Read other online reviews (many outside of this website) before purchasing this microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
