Fair to good printer

I have had this printer for a year + and my biggest complaint is that it drinks ink like I drink beer. Fairly often and too much. Print quality is good, and print speed is o.k. for this style of printer. It is slow to come ready, but works fine once it is up. I have had issues with sheet feed, but that seems to have fixed itself, as it has been feeding fine as of late. I appreciate the wireless feature, and the power up on demand. Overall, except for its thirst for ink, it works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Directions were not very good. The ink head was not installed and the directions did not tell you how to install. Went on line for help and these left out the first step to pull out lock out lever. 2 1/2 hours to install and make printer work. So far printer now works good

Printer Problems

Had my new printer for 2 weeks and it stopped feeding. During the 2 weeks, I was pleasantly happy. Took the printer back to store and, of course, they did not have another one. We are still waiting, without a printer, and it has been almost a week.

great printer

Had some problems getting it to connect to wireless adapter, but now works great, faster printing than my last printer and clearer print. Have not had long enough to say anything about how long a cartridge will last.
Pros: Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Difficult Setup

Bought this brand new and the printer head had loud noises and I recd an error message. Canon responded quickly. I recd the second one (refurbished) and tried to set it up again and got another error saying to install printer head with an error of 1401. I am disappointed and will be contacting canon again.
