It will test your sanity.....

I have had this printer for a few months to print some things for my online class. The first day I used it and printed 100 pages or so without issue. That was the only good day this printer has had. It always tells you to load paper even though it has paper. You have to reload 1-5 times before it finally decides to feed a sheet in. Then stay there because you will have to reload 1-5 times for the 2nd sheet to print. Every so often I get two pages to print before repeating the unload and loading of the paper. I have tried with 5 sheets of paper and with 20 sheets of paper, the result is the same you have to load and unload repeatedly before it will print one page. I am in misery. Purchasing This printer was the biggest mistake. Somebody please help! Oh and I repair printers for a living... Seriously. Thankfully I don't have to work on this model or I would never get to go home.

Incredible purchase

I purchased the Canon 5520 printer. I am a 62 year old female sophomore in college and I am in no way mechanically or technically inclined, but I had absolutely no problem setting up the printer. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of printing, and I look forward to using the printer's other options (photocopying, etc.)

I had no trouble getting my PIXMA MG5520 printer up and running once connected to my computer, with no issues like I have had before with others. My trail run with printing pictures was perfect. Thank you Canon for the easy of set up directions.

I love this printer!!
Easy setup for all my devices, Laptop, Cell phone and Kindle.
This is my 3rd printer within 2 years and this is by far the best.
Ink I felt like I was constantly having to buy ink for my other printers, but the PIXMA MG5520 lasts quite awhile and my 11 year old is constantly printing.
Love the feature that turns the printer on if you send a print to it and it is off.
A Great Buy!! Reasonably priced.

Used too much ink and refill ink is not an option. Operating cost is too high for me.

I was skeptical because of the low price but was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to set up the wireless capability to my phone and my laptop. It prints very clear photos. I haven't printed any documents yet but I'm sure they will look good.
It takes 5 different ink cartriges, hopefully they will last a while and don't cost too much to replace.

Wonderful Printer

I recently had to replace my printer when mine quit working. The sales reps where I purchased it highly recommended this canon machine since I print pictures occasionally. It's a bit more complicated than my previous printer (different brand) but once I figured it all out I love all the features it has on it. I also wanted a printer with separate color cartridges, which this one has. The price was great and quality of the printing is excellent. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone looking to purchase.
