Solid Performance for a great price!!!

There was no hesitation to buy! I replace an old HDD in one of my old laptops I've been upgrading, and it runs as if it is brand new!
Pros: Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, efficient

PS4 Pro Upgrade

I installed this in a PS4 Pro as a replacement hard drive. The loading time in games is very apparent, and this drive performs wonderfully. It was a little expensive, but it's worth it.
Pros: Lightweight, fast, stable
Cons: pricy
I would recommend this to a friend!

This drive is absolutely amazing! I did not expect how fast my PC boots and reacts to applications. It's like having a new PC. The installation process was real easy with the included migration software. The only drawback was that it did not include a SATA to USB adapter and mounting bracket but was able to purchase the two fairly cheap online. I am looking forward to getting a larger drive in the future when prices come down a bit.
Pros: Lightweight, easy installation, lightning fast, included migration software
Cons: still a bit expensive, no usb to sata adapter for cloning, no 2.5" mounting bracket

Anything LESS Is Not The Best!

I have been building computers for over 15 years, and have used many brands of HDs. I remember when SSDs first came out on the consumer market . Now the price and reliability are vary good compared to the earlier SSDs. Another manf. has been the industry leader for many years and always been my favorite brand for HDs but they have fallen behind and are just now entering the SSD market. I have used a couple of the leading names in computer parts SSDs and they have worked well. But after installing a Samsung EVO 850 drive, and using it a few days I am now a convert. The response times and pricing have made them my favorite. The warranty seals the deal at 5 years!! Do not hesitate to buy one of the EVO SSDs , they are marvelous!
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, excellent response times, dependable

I have now installed about a dozen of these drives into client machines (All MacBook Pros) and my own MacBook Pro... These drives have all performed beautifully.
Prior to choosing Samsung SSDs as my go to product for client machine upgrades, I did a ton of research into the performance, reliability and easy of use / maintenance of a variety of SSDs and finally settled on Samsung's SSD. Glad I did as all have been performing flawlessly.
Note: If you have a Mac, make SURE to enable TRIM support within the Mac OS to help keep your new SSD performing at its best (Terminal app > "sudo trimforce enable"). And Of course, MAKE SURE you use Time Machine (built into Mac OS) to keep regular backups just in case.

This drive is light, fast, and super easy to install! Put two in my MacBook Pros and they literally changed the computers giving them new life! Totally satisfied!

I researched all the popular ssds and although Samsung was a little higher cost I went with the reviews and I am glad I did. Easy transfer with the migration cd, easy to install ( I did it myself ) and finished up with the magician cd. Started up and all went well. I will be using Samsung ssds in the future and I hope to get the 500gb version next !!!
