Installed in a snap in an All-In-One Computer (Sony). Had no problems. Impressed with the increase in speed. It's like new again.

The speed and reliability of the Samsung EVO series of SSDs is impressive and I would argue provides the most bang for the buck. You pay a bit more in terms of $$$/storage, but the performance, reliability, and software that is included definitely makes this one a winner.

Had to change BIOS features on MB from IDE Mode to AHCI then install went smoothly

I did not realize that my MB had a default setting on SATA controller to Native IDE - once I changed setting to AHCI and to IDE mode on some ports was I able to configure and install drive.
Still working on some recovery issues but hat seems to be because of cloning with the drive in WIN 10. Satisfied with performance. It's FAST...
Pros: good value and warranty

Nothing beats an EVO

Samsung EVOs are simply the best you can buy. And nothing speeds up a system like an SSD. They even have Samsung Migration Software to easily transfer your system from a spinner (mechanical) to SSD.
Pros: best quality on the market today
