This SSD is awesome. It had the software to move data from the old drive to the new drive and boot up. Good thing I had the USB to SATA connector tool.

Extremely fast boot times

Replaced a 500gb 7200rpm HD in my laptop to this SSD. The machine boots up to Win 10 with in 10 seconds now Vs. about 30+ seconds.
Pros: Inexpensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 850 EVO series is still a great group of SSDs, with performance far exceeding standard HDDs. The price points are still a little high, especially with better/faster SSD families out now, like the 950 and 960.

My recommendation is to buy two and set them up as RAID 0. My first experience with SSD and I just lost 4 months of my life. Thanks!

Couldn't be more happy with this product! Installed windows as my OS on my primary SSD and boots up less than 5 seconds! Happy with the results and plan on buying another one.

Saved my dead laptop

Here's the rub, my laptop was slow, too slow. I was about to throw it out until I found out it was because my hdd was holding my system back. After researching every SSD known to man. I chose this one. I got this gem on ebay and threw it into my laptop. Now boot times and overall performance is shown everywhere!!
Pros: Durable, fast!!, slim, easy to use
Cons: expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!
