I purchased this as a test for my gaming computer and to say the least it blew my gourd !
The increase of speed on startup and accessing files is beyond words !
So good in fact I/m ordering the EVO 850 1TB SSD to use along side the 500GB SSD !

This is my second Samsung SSD and as always it is a great product !
Anyone who wants to increase speed on everything done while computing needs to purchase one of these babies !

Did speed up my desktop computer's read/write about 3 times, then the "rapid mode" helped to boost these 2 -3 times more. At the fresh start of the computer, the Chrome is less reactive or slow to open/connect to the searched web page, but after a while it is back up to the normal speed?!

Huge step up from a normal HDD

Couldn't believe just how fast an SSD is compared to a normal hard drive. Installation was easy and the instructions were easy to understand. Having a usable computer in under 15 seconds from the time I press the power button is a big plus in my book. Have been using it for about a month now and I have had no issues. It works as advertised.
I would recommend this to a friend!
