Samsung 250GB hard drive was a no brainer when looking for a replacement for my crashed one. It's everyone's fave for a reason!

Imo one of the best SSDs

I've tried other brands of SSD's. However, the Samsung SSD's blow those out of the water in terms of speed and reliability. Constant high speeds, and I haven't ran into any problems. I've also had the 500GB for over a year now and it's still working at 100%.

Very easy install Samsung has good data migration software that comes with the SSD.
no registering or jumping thru hoops to use.

One thing though when u use the install all, it only installs first program you have to go back and install the second one

Had my ssd up and running in less than 30 minutes. your time will vary depending on how much data you have to transfer.

Then run the samsung magician optimization software that comes with it and your good to go.
This is a realy nice program has features like Performance Benchmarking and other tools.

What a difference this drive has made to my system. I'm upgrading my standard HDD to this SSD and WOW I can not believe the speed difference with my OS.

I bought the 850EVO 1TB to replace my HDD. I mainly use it for running my games and some other software, its super fast and also it produces less heat for my laptop. Really a worthy investment for my laptop, I made the right choice!

I bought 2 of the SSD at the same time but one of them were having issue after 5-6 hours continues use. One still run great as expected and very fast for booting and running my programs.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

Great SSD

After comparing prices... the Samsung EVO SSDs are probably the best value on the market now. I recently bought the 500GB Model today after buying another 500GB EVO a couple of weeks ago.
One thing that isn't mentioned very often is the SSD Utility. I've used other SSD Utilities before and I will admit that Magician is probably the best SSD Utility Software.
As a veteran SSD Buyer & User... the one disappointment I do have with the current Samsung SSDs is that they no longer seem to come with mounting brackets. Perhaps to keep costs down.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, best ssd utility software
Cons: no longer comes with mounting bracket
