POOR QUALITY!!!

I have had this frig less than 2 years and already having issues and having a service tech come look at it. Bottom drawer in frig is freezing everything in it and frost and ice built up under the drawer while the top of the frig is not cooling at ALL!!! You would think something this expensive would last longer than 18 months of use!! Never will I buy a GE product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Piece of Junk

This has been a pain in the rear from the first year. It was all but rebuilt within the first two years. It has since been leaking water on the floor. Today, I emptied the freezer to find the bottom of the fridge covered in a thick sheet of ice. I would not buy another GE fridge without a super long extended FREE warranty.

Hate this fridge

Hate this fridge - it makes horrendous sounds when the ice bucket is full. Rather than just not trying to continue to fill the ice bin, the water line continues to try and run, causing an obnoxious sound until you empty the bin and it readjusts itself a few minutes later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So many issues

Loved at first, but slowly the problems keep piling up. Fridge won’t stay cold. Ice forms under freezer drawer & leaked out & ruined our flooring.

Replace After Only 7 Years Service

Replaced after only 7 years. 50 years ago a GE Refrigerator would last 30-50 years. Amazing, you would think the quality would have gotten better. Since owning I have had two fans replaced and then the main motherboard went out. I have always liked GE and have 4 other appliances that are GE. (Stove, Dishwasher, Clothes Washer and Dryer). Clothes Washer has been giving us trouble to where I'm close to replacing it. Now I got a Frigidare Refrigerator.

Both ice makers quit working.

I've had this refrigerator almost 3 years. The top ice maker had to be replaced about 18 months ago. Now the top and bottom ice makers have quit working and the freezer is not freezing and the refrigerator is not cooling properly. Thankfully I was able to get someone to come out within 24 hours to look at it. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty, but very frustrated that there have been so many problems.

This refrigerator has been noisy from day one. We were told this is somewhat normal. Now 5 years old and this compressor has gone out. I have a backup Maytag refrigerator that is 17 years old and the only problem has been replacement of the ice maker. I would recommend staying away from any GE appliance

Major Issues early on, thought we would have to replace it after only 2 years. Also it is the loudest refrigerator we have ever owned.
