Great value for the price

This is our second bottom freezer refrigerator. One other was a door model as opposed to this drawer unit. Very easy access to all areas of the freezer, with no need to open a door and then slide out the shelf. We are senior citizens and having the refrigerator shelves at eye level is most convenient and accessible.
Pros: easy to use

Have had refrigerator for a couple of months & just love it. The only disappointment is the freezer isn't big enough for all the On Sale Items at the grocery store. Thought that the stainless steel would be hard to keep clean but it isn't at all. The best refrigerator that we have had. Very quiet running except for the ice dropping in freezer.

The product is awesome, It did replace a Kenmore
product. The previous appliance's light bulbs kept
blowing out. Also the product didn't keep the food cold. This product keeps the food cold and the freezer on the bottom is large enough for the groceries. The only noise is when the ice maker
releases the ice cubes.

Purchased refrigerator one month ago.
The stainless steel is beautiful. Easy to clean.
Very happy with large storage area on the door and in the freezer.
Easy to move shelving and to clean.
Great icemaker.
I looked at quite a few others but kept coming back to this.
I would recommend this refrigerator.
It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen remodel.
I’m very happy with the purchase and delivery.

Bright and spacious

We REALLY wanted a french door fridge but it just won't fit in the space in our 1920's home, so we had limited options. Once we narrowed the field down to LG (based on reviews and quality reputation) this was really the only one that would work. We weren't thrilled with it initially but now that it's in the house and we're using it every day we're very pleased. I was convinced that we would NOT be able to fit everything we had on the doors of our old fridge into this one but am happy to report it all fits with room to spare. Ditto the freezer and we all are really liking that pull out drawer. So much easier to rifle around in there now than having to get down on your hands and knees to inspect what was in our old bottom freezer. I also had some difficulty sorting out how that little tiny shelf along the bottom of the door could possibly be useful, but our spices that require refrigeration fit along there perfectly and it's much easier to see what's there than I imagined it would be. I also love how bright it is inside compared to our old fridge - so easy to find everything! My only complaint is that the one long shelf isn't as strong as it could be. It sags quite a bit in the middle when you get much weight on it. And it would be great if they would offer this in the stainless finish that is finger and smudge proof/resistant. I spend way too much time wiping down the front.

Quiet and spacious refrigerator

The refrigerator is very quiet. The warranty is about the longest on the market: The warranty for parts only, is 7 years for the sealed system and 10 years for the compressor, which which indicates how much confidence the manufacturer has in it.
I stored two 16 pound turkeys before Thanksgiving, and the brackets of the glass shelves held up well. The shelves in the door were also filled up. The refrigerator was almost overfull but it held the temperature at its setting of 38 degrees. The freezer was quarter of the way full. I was pleased with the performance.
The one thing I don't like about the refrigerator, is the thin plastic used for the door shelves, the crispers, and the Glide'N'Serve drawer. The drawer also came in handy to organize the food.

I am amazed at just how much fits easily into the bottom freezer compartment and no more struggling to get to the ice cubes. Just a couple of reasons I am so pleased with my LG purchase. The Glide'N'Serve slide out drawer inside the fridge compartment keeps beverages, as well as deli trays, at my fingertips. With the door alarm function and the auto closing doors there won't be any more ruined food because the door gets left ajar. Interior is so well lit! No more peering into the fridge or the freezer. No doubt about the quality of craftsmanship either. Lucky me!

LOVE this 'fridge!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first LG product and we LOVE it!!! We bought this refrigerator to replace a french door style with the freezer on the bottom that kept getting mold in the seals - ick! Although it measures about 2" smaller than our other one, we get a lot more in it because of its superior design, including the wide and awesome shelves in the door! It is quiet, dependable and the LED lighting is great -- very easy on the eyes, helpful for cleaning and I can find everything I need, even way in the back. The one thing that I would change is for the top to be all the same height. Instead there is a higher part for some reason on the front top part of the refrigerator, so to open our cupboard doors above it, I have to pull it forward. Fortunately, I don't use that cupboard very often and the wheels make it easy to pull in and out, so it's not a big deal at all. This is by far the best refrigerator we've ever owned! I strongly recommend it! And, we will be looking for LG in the future - absolutely excellent product! :0) - Laura
