Worth the price

The only drawback is the plastic cover over the fan constantly comes loose and falls off on top of whatever I am warming up (not pleasant when you're not using a microwave cover over the food)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive so far

Have only had it a week. Nice appearance (except I wish the GE emblem could be removed). We have finally decided on all white appliances. Great set of messages, e.g. "Your Food is Ready" We had a bunch of short power interruptions yesterday and the clock kept the time while all the other digital clocks in the house were blinking. Minor gripe: the print in the owner's manual is way too small and difficult to read, and the manual is flimsy like recycled newspaper.

Just What We Wanted

Our old microwave stopped working after 11+years; we called GE and they recommended a replacement. The new one came and fit in our opening exactly!! So far, performing great.

No ugly vents! Perfect microwave!

Previous microwave had vents in the front that continued to accumulate grease and dust even after washing. This one does not have the vents in the front so I do not have the old problem. Lot of features, ease of use, pretty.

Fits space / looks nice

Fit the space from the previous microwave which broke down 3 days before Thanksgiving. Size, features, looks and customer ratings at various sites convinced us to good with this choice. So far so good.

Love this Microwave

I had to replace a microwave and wanted a quiet and powerful one for cooking. This GE Microwave stands up to the largest bird as well as the smallest frozen dinner. I love it!

My old GE microwave quit working when we smelled smoke..it was about 14 years old. My husband went back to store where we bought first one and they had the color bisque which was the color of the old one. That was great in itself...didn't want different color appliances in the kitchen. New one seems to heat faster even tho they were both 1000 watts. Am pleased with the features too which are somewhat the same as old one.
