Perfect Over The Stove (light in a bad location)

I love my over-the-stove microwave and had an old GE - time to replace it. I like everything about the new one but the location of the light - it's so far back - it lights up the wall and puts a shadow on the knobs - does not light up the working area. No real good way to light up the working area anymore. :-(

An absolute lemon.

We have had noting but problems since day one. Doesn’t heat food now makes some loud humming noise and table sounds like it’s grinding when it turns. I’m super disappointed and it will be a major hassle to uninstall the above range unit. Even if it is under warranty It’s a major hassle. Sorry I made this purchase.

Low Quality, avoid

I got this 3-4 months ago (online purchase), it started making big rattling noises. BTW I used it sparingly just reheating food. The service tech guy said its turn table motor has gone bad !!! Poor quality control, hard earned money gone in drain over a once trusted appliance brand. I'll not buy GE again ever.

Great product, easy install, looks great. Just wish that the light over the stove was brighter. GE why not use an LED bulb it is 2016.

We purchased this 14 months ago and it quit heating yesterday. You would think a microwave would work longer than 14 months.

2years lasting microwave

In less than 5 years we had to replace this microwave twice, it stops working after 2 years. We replaced it with the same model because all our appliances are GE brand with slate color which is hard to find in another brand. We prefer Amana brand which lasted more than 10 years.

Confusing controls and didn't last

The controls are confusing compared to most microwaves I have owned in the past. And the sensor cooking (popcorn, baked potato, reheat, etc.) stopped working 1 year and 4 months after purchase. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE GE products.
