I bought this to go over our GE Profile combination (gas/electric) range. It works well, and I really appreciate the power saver button so that I don't use electricity on yet one more digital clock in my kitchen.

Sleek look

This replaced my 10 yr old over the range microwave for Profile series. The only thing I do not like is this huge GE logo in the center of the door and the inside is now dark instead of white. However the darker color will hide food splashes better. It's very spacious inside and looks sleek and still goes well with my other stainless steel appliances. The fan has several settings and pretty powerful but they're all loud (ish). You can get for pretty good price instead of fixing (my heating element was shot so not worth it to fix)

Installation was very easy but need at least two persons in order to install over the range. Microwave operation was smooth with very little or noticeable noise. Heating distribution was excellent. It also matched my other GE profile series appliances. The llikeable feature was the easy clean surface on the inside. Excellent product with good design and efficient operation.

I purchased this microwave on 23 Nov 2013. They delivered on 2 Dec 2013; and I called GE because I would try to warm water on 5 minutes and the water would not heat. The magnetron was gone; then they delivered another on 23 Dec 2013; it would not come on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install and love the sleek features. Bought this to match my new profile range and I am very happy with the look. Heats food evenly and quietly. The exhaust fan and light for the range works well. I agree with the previous rating that the only thing I don't like is the GE logo smack dab in the middle of the face front. Had many GE appliances in the past and present and have never had any complaints.

I bought this microwave in December of 2013 and we love it. All my appliances are GE profile and it matched pretty well with the existing items. It is extremely well made with very convenient features. Among all the features, we love the interior cleaning abillity. We would recommend this microwave oven to anyone.
