The only complaint is the turn table and drive are easily misaligned!!

I bought this to replace an old unit that had finally quit working. It was important to find one that would match with the rest of the kitchen appliances and be a really good and dependable machine. We won big time, this unit is easy for older folks to use as the controls are simple and well marked, it's easy to clean and works really well. We simply could not ask for more.

I bought this about 4 months ago and really enjoy using it, especially the turntable . I hate the fact that the instructions say to take out the rack when I am only heating 1 item. Sometimes I forget because I have nowhere to put it.

We replaced out profile from 2004 when the magnetron went out. This new microwave is aweful. Lets start with the looks.
The middle/top portion of the door has a GE logo on it. It looks ridiculous and out of place.
The panel is so dim that you have to be on top of it to see what it says. The letters/numbers are small and so dull.
NO buttons on the panel light up like our original profile.
The clock doesn't stay on like it did on our other unit. It turns off after about 1 minute. I had to buy a clock for the kitchen which I was trying to avoid.
The inside is black. So ugly and dark.
That about covers it. Suffice it to say there isn't ANYTHING I like about this profile.
We decided to install a new magnetron and put our old but perfect microwave back into out kitchen. We will use this new one in one of our rental properties, but would return it if we could.

I have had this for a while now and love all the features. Only complaint is the display panel is hard to see. It should be a liter color or have a light..but only change I would make.
