Great Appliance

I bought this as a replacement for my GE Profile Microwave that lasted 12 years without any repairs or problems. Hoping this unit will do the same. Easy installation, easy operation and consistent heating and reheating. Great product!

Poor human factors engineering.

I believe that the human factors engineering was very poorly thought through. The black face plate is almost unreadable under any conditions. I much prefer my old microwave with a white face plate with black letters. Definitely needs more work.

Missing an important feature

Nice features are 4-speed fan and 2 light brightness levels. However, this oven does not have the Micro Cook feature which we had our 1998 builder-grade GE oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave is very functional and looks great above our GE Profile stainless steel range. My only disappointment is that the keypad is not backlit. It can be difficult to read in low light situations.

Been using this microwave for about 4 years. Functions very well. There only issue is that I had to replace the magnetron once. Other than that, it works like a dream.
