Very disappointed. I've never had a microwave quit working before. This only lasted 4 1/2 years.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this GE microwave to stay consistent with other GE appliance. Stops working after a few years each time.

Hi, Thanks for your loyalty! We're sorry to hear about your two microwave experiences. This sounds incredibly frustrating that they would stop working after a few short years. All our over-the-range microwaves require a minimum of 66" mounting height from floor to top of the microwave. The 66" from the floor dimension will allow approximately 13"-16" between the cooktop and the bottom front of the microwave. As long as the 66" minimum from the floor to the top of the microwave is followed there shouldn't be any performance issues.You may want to make sure proper installation clearances are being met.

Hello. We are sorry to hear that you have had issue with the microwave handle. we understand the frustration this has caused you. Replacing microwave handles requires disassembly of the door, and therefore should be replaced by a service technician. Any adjustment or repair involving the microwave door needs to be followed up by a leak test to make sure of proper fit, operation, and alignment. This must be done by a qualified technician.
