LOVE THE MICROWAVE BUT DISAPPOINTED

I looked long and hard to to get the microwave with all of the features we needed. Much to my chagrin, the one item i just assumed was included (and forgot to check for), was the panel be backlit. This black panel with the lettering as it is, is very difficult to read. I would have gladly paid more to have it backlit. On a GE Profile unit, it should have been. I can't recommend this unit for that reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mostly perfect!

We purchased GE when re doing our kitchen 2 months ago. We picked the proffesional series slide in electric double stove, French door refridgeraror, & microwave. We love the stove but feel the flat top clean up is much more difficult than expected. It seems to already have stain spots that can't be removed. The double oven is fantastic! And cooks evenly. The refridgeraror is great too but also has finger print spots that need constant cleaning. The ice machine had to quickly be replaced & cubed ice still pops out all over and not consistently. The microwave heats well but seems like its not built too sturdy. We love the look & function & reliability of our GE products but we wish it was easier to clean & keep it stain free!

Cheap made.

This microwave does not have a light on the panel. Unable to see where to press when it is dark in the kitchen. The door is so loud when it shuts that it would wake someone sleeping in the bedroom. It is supposed to be vented outside but everything comes out the top. Must clean this daily or it builds up. It is also affecting the cabinet above the microwave. Overall, I am highly disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good looking product, works well but sometimes does make things hot enough for my taste and I have to let it heat up longer than originally anticipated

Sleek and very powerful microwave

Very futuristic design with hidden vents on top. Wish carbon filter for vents would've come pre-installed. Stainless steel attracts a lot of finger prints but it's still a beautiful microwave. Excellent cooker and smart sensors cook food thoroughly.

Love our new Profile microwave!

Just had our new microwave installed but the GE Profile microwave is not new to us as we have had it in our other two homes (thirty years) and love it for its ease of operation, dependability, and appearance. We know that we will have many more years in our retirement home with all our GE Profile appliances because they have been good and dependable products!!
