Not as good as my last 4Gb walkman

I purchase model # NW-E393 from best buy in store with a home delivery 10/17. I replace a 4 gb walkman that had the 8 gb features. BOY ,was i disappointed. First the volume control is on the side of the device. It makes it hard to adjust when it is an arm band.Second, i cant load playlist!! It already had songs in a folder when i purchase it. I will be calling best buy hoping to return it for another one..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this item back in 2012, I was only 9 at the time. I had just won $100 at the circus and all I wanted was an mp3. This was what I ended up with, at the end of the day I didn't care what brand it was, as long as it played music I was happy. It is now 2019, and Still to this day it's held up all these years. I'm still using it everyday, I prefer this over storing music on my phone haha. Also, this has radio so its a win. 100% recommend this to anyone looking to purchase these days.

I should have got the 16gb!

This is my first MP3 player. The grandkids think I am a cool grandma now:)
I have loaded most of my CD collection on it and have just about filled it. It has good storage, I just have a lot of music.

It sounds good with the ear buds, but the only drawback to this device is with the ear buds included you need ears the size of an elephants for them to be comfortable.
The majority of the time I plug it into my sound system. Sound is fabulous. Also into my alarm clock for when going to or getting up from bed.
Battery life has been impressive. Like the red color. It is also a better size for ease of use. Most other brands were so small, about match box size. This one is perfect.
I will be ordering a 16GB soon and continue to use the 4GB for a specific style of music I can grab & go.

Best Purchase Ever

I am on my second MP3 Player by Sony -- the first one I had for 3 years and the one I have now, I have had for 3 years. I've listened to others, the sound can't even compare to Sony's, every time I consider buying a new MP3 Player, I test others just to see if I need to change -- I don't. I LOVE my MP3 Player, it is my best friend, the clear crisp sound is like no other. I have dropped it, hit it on furniture -- it has never dissappointed me, the only reason why I am considering getting a new one, is because that is what I want for Christmas.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For the price, it is a decent player. Mine does not quite live up to the hype. Boasting 50 hrs of play time. By the end of an 8 hr shift I have 1 bar left. It makes it through the day. I still have a hard time finding the shuffle option, I wish it wasn't hid so well.

Of all the features to NOT include w/ a portable music player, Bluetooth is shortsighted. Who wants to be tangled up in wires? Nobody.

I bought the 4GB Black. It has a very nice sound quality.I admire it. Better than my CREATIVE Mp3 player. But I have a problem with the videos. It only supports QQVGA. And that's a stupid thing thing, 'cause I can't find any sort of converter that can convert to QQVGA or 128X160. I know that this is mainly made for music, but I selected this one because I thought I could carry around some simple videos.
